Consentric Triangles
Consentric Triangles
oil and pencil on acrylic on canvas
48 x 60"

While I started what became "Concentric Triangles", Howard Hodgkin, one of my very favorite painters died. So I was very emotional while painting the gestural green, eventual background. I contemplated for a year or more as to how to resolve the painting. Eventually I landed on the orderly rows of pink, red and vermillion triangles.
