JFMA 2025-Thesis Writing

Throughout the winter and spring of 2025, I continued writing my dissertation. I continue to get helpful feedback, to edit, and refine my thinking and writing. I sent the draft to the curator of my thesis show, and to my writer brother. They were kind to read closely, and offered helpful advice on various larger points, and smaller refinements.
I'm no longer over the 40,000 word limit, plus I've moved the longest, 24,000 word appendix, to my blog. In the document I provided links to it, so that the digital thesis is more manageable. I am refining my conclusions. Eventually I will submit it to both thesis advisors via eDoc. (Since August 2024, I have been saying to myself "I'll be finished with this first draft "by the end of this month...")
… My supervisors will read it, then give their revision suggestion, which I will make. I will submit that draft to LJMU's eDoc system to be read by two outside reviewers. We will have my oral defense (viva in the UK) later this year.. perhaps in or September? After it, they will give me feedback, and final recommended changes. I will make those before submitting to LJMUs and Transart's PhD dissertation archives.
